Nominations for Lerner College B&E Alumni Awards of Excellence

DEADLINE FOR NOMINATIONS: MARCH 31, 2013

 

The Lerner College Alumni Awards of Excellence are presented to alumni who have made outstanding contributions in one or more of the following ways: 

  • Exceptional accomplishment in a chosen field in business, government, non-profit or professional careers
  • Exceptional service in local, state or national affairs
  • Exceptional service and contribution in support of the advancement and excellence of the Lerner College

Please list the nominee's accomplishments for each category on this form or download here and return to Mr. Coffin. Please include a resume or bio with the nomination form by sending an email to Mr. Roger Coffin, rcoffinatudel [dot] edu, Dean's Office, Lerner College of Business & Economics, Newark, DE 19716. Additional supporting material (press releases, awards, honors, etc.) may be included as well.

Nominations are kept on file and considered for the Alumni Awards of Excellence for three years. It is the responsibility of the nominator to update supporting information as needed. Applications must be received in the Lerner College Dean’s Office, University of Delaware, Newark, Delaware 19716 no later than March 31.

Award recommendations will be made by the Alumni Awards of Excellence Committee comprised of three members of the Lerner College Alumni Board, the Lerner College Marketing Manager, the Associate Director of Corporate Outreach and the Lerner College Director of Development. Recommendations will be made by the Committee to the Lerner College Dean and Deputy Dean for final selection. The recipient will be informed officially by the Lerner College Dean’s Office and will be contingent upon the recipient’s availability to receive the award in person during the University’s Alumni Weekend typically scheduled during the first weekend of June.
