Academic Programs and Courses - Entrepreneurial Studies
The University offers a number of academic programs with related coursework in the area of Entrepreneurial Studies. Below is a listing of programs associated with ES:
- Minor in Entrepreneurial Studies
- Student Business Incubator- Venture Development Center opening Fall 2008.
- Forum on Entrepreneurship
- Business Plan Competition- Open to all University students, and also faculty and staff as long as at least 1 student is on the team.
- New Venture Creation- Entrepreneurship concentration for the MBA Program- courses open to other graduate programs with permission of Graduate & Executive Programs Assistant Dean.
- High Technology Entrepreneurship- MBA & MS in Info Systems, MS & PhD in Materials Science & MS in EE elective course, also open to other University graduate students with permission of faculty.
- Center for Economic Education & Entrepreneurship - Middle-High School Programs, Master of Arts in Economic Education & Entrepreneurship, Stock Market Game.
- Undergraduate elective courses: The College also provides students with the opportunity to take selected coursework to enhance their academic experience.
- Scholarship Opportunities: The ES program awards scholarships to students studying entrepreneurship.
- Entrepreneurship Club: The Club offers students the opportunity to network and learn from guest speaker and outreach programs.
