Our department is unique in that it integrates two business disciplines that require strong analytical thinking—accounting and management information systems. This integration enables our students to use both their problem-solving and technological skills to solve business problems.

Each year, our department provides a number of opportunities for students to meet and interact with managers from dozens of global companies who offer jobs and internships to our students.
Your Opportunities are Endless. Many accounting and MIS undergraduate students avail themselves of one or more of the Universities special learning opportunities. Our majors are excellent candidates for the University Honors Program and Study Abroad programs. To enhance their academic program, students can also select from a number of minors offered throughout the University, particularly the MIS minor.
