Major Curriculum & the MIS Minor:
Business Majors:
MISY 160, ACCT 207, and BUAD 306 are part of your core curriculum. MISY courses will be counted as follows:
Accounting Majors:
- 6 MISY credits will go into free electives
- 6 MISY credits will go into "ACCT, BUAD, MISY, or FINC electives."
- ACCT 302 is required of all Accounting Majors and will not be replaced by any courses in the MIS Minor.
Business Administration Majors:
- 6 MISY credits will go into free electives
- 6 MISY credits will go into "ACCT, BUAD, MISY, or FINC electives."
- 3 MISY credits will replace ACCT 261, if you have already taken ACCT 261, these last 3 MISY credits will be treated as free electives.
Finance Majors:
- 9 MISY credits will go into free electives
- 3 MISY credits will go into "ACCT, BUAD, MISY, or FINC electives."
- 3 MISY credits will replace ACCT 261, if you have already taken ACCT 261, these last 3 MISY credits will be treated as free electives.
Economics Majors:
- 15 MISY credits are allocated to free electives or to related work. Check with your advisor on the appropriate allocation of MISY 160, ACCT 207, and BUAD 306.
