Biographical information on Burton A. Abrams
Professor of Economics, University of Delaware, since 1974. Ph.D. From The Ohio State University, 1974. Numerous articles in academic journals including the Journal of Political Economy, the National Tax Journal, the Journal of Money, Credit and Banking and Public Choice. Author of Return to Animal Farm (McGraw-Hill, 1998). Visiting Professor to the Federal Trade Commission (1984-85) and to universities in China (1989 and 2001) and Australia (1994). Honors and awards include appointment as a National Fellow at Stanford University’s Hoover Institution, 1978-79, three-time Fulbright Professor to the People’s Republic of China (1985-86), South Africa (1994) and Croatia (2002) and recipient of National Science Foundation Grants. Listed in Marquis’ Who’s Who in America and Who’s Who in the World.

Biographical information on Russell F. Settle
Dr. Settle earned his PhD in economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1974. After thirty years on the faculty at the University of Delaware, he retired as a Professor of Economics in August 2004. He also served as a Visiting Economist at the National Academy of Sciences (1979-80) and as a Visiting Professor and Research Associate at the Maxwell School, Syracuse University (1983-84). He plans to continue his teaching and research career after moving to the western U.S. He has published 35 papers in such academic journals as the Journal of Political Economy, Economic Inquiry, the Journal of Money, Credit and Banking, Public Choice, and the Southern Economic Journal. He also co-authored a textbook: Benefit-Cost Analysis: A Practical Guide.

Biographical information on Martin Kennedy
Martin Kennedy is a Ph.D. Candidate (University of Delaware) who has recently joined the faculty of Aquinas College in Nashville. He holds a B.A. degree from Villanova University and a M.A. degree in economics from Temple University.
