  • The College's Hotel, Restaurant and Institutional Management Program has exceptional campus facilities that include a hotel and a student-run restaurant. The program earned a national ranking of 7th among undergraduate hospitality education programs.
  • In Spring 2008, the College opened a state-of-the-art Financial Trading Lab, the Exelon Trading Center.

  • In Fall 2008, the College opened the Venture Development Center, an entrepreneurial hub for students.  It is intended to promote growth of entrepreneurial endeavors and economic development.

  • The College offers a wide array of undergraduate majors and minors within Accounting, Business, Economics, Finance and Information Systems.  A “Business Fundamentals” certificate program is also available. 
  • Graduate degrees include the Master of Science (MS) degrees in Accounting, in Information Systems and Technology Management; an MS in Finance; and an MS in Hospitality Information Management. There is the Master’s and Ph.D in Economics; and the MS in Organizational Effectiveness, Development, and Change; and the MBA/EMBA.
  • The Alfred Lerner College of Business and Economics is one of only 500 institutions throughout the world accredited by AACSB International, the premier accrediting agency for bachelors, masters, and doctoral degrees in business and accounting programs.  Established in 1963, the School of Business earned its initial accreditation in 1966.
  • The Centers in the College include the renown John L. Weinberg Center for Corporate Governance, the Center for Economic Education and Entrepreneurship, the Exelon Trading Center, and the Venture Development Center.
  • The College has close to 3,000 undergraduate students, 550 graduate students, and 110 fulltime faculty.
