Leon & Margaret Slocomb Professional Excellence Award

The Slocomb Award is awarded on Honors Day each year to a full-time faculty or professional staff member in the Lerner College. The award description reads, "The recipient should exhibit a caring attitude for the interest of students and clients. The person should also demonstrate an exemplary commitment to public service, community involvement, and innovative activity.
Anyone who is a full-time faculty or staff member may make a nomination. All nominations submitted by April 24, 2013 will be considered. Just complete and submit this online form. Questions may be directed to Ms. Nancy Proctor, Lerner College Dean's Office, 303 Alfred Lerner Hall, email: proctorn
udel [dot] edu. Note that individuals receiving the award become ineligible to receive it again for three years. Recipients for this time period include Pamela Cummings (2010), Kim Wilson (2011) and Daniel Freeman (2012). The award is presented at the spring faculty/staff meeting.
