The monthly newsletter of Medical Tourism Magazine mentioned the Hotels Bridging Healthcare (H2H) conference on Hotel, Wellness and Medical Tourism Entrepreneurship. Co-chaired by HRIM professors Frederick DeMicco and Ali Poorani, the H2H conference will run at the Grand Resort Bad Ragaz in Switzerland from June 16-19, 2012. The conference is co-sponsored by Hospitality Associates for Research & Training (HART), UD's Lerner College and College of Health Sciences and UD's Hotel Restaurant and Institutional Management department.

In the Directors and Boards Annual Report 2011, an adaption of a keynote address by Indra Nooyi, chairman and CEO of PepsiCo Inc., appears. The address was delivered on April 6, 2011 at the Weinberg Center's 10th anniversary celebration, and in the magazine Nooyi notes, "A 10th anniversary is the first big milestone for any institution, but the Weinberg Center has gained such a reputation for the excellence of its research and discourse during these years that it feels as if it has been around a lot longer...We have great institutions like this one, creating a hub for the latest thinking..."
