Home What People Are Saying About "Keys." Students, teachers, and parents welcome the course on personal finance to their schools. Here are a few of their comments: At a PTA Open House, Carla Lawson of Caesar Rodney High School reports, "The parents of my students are overjoyed that this class is being offered." Christiana High School teacher Sally Dodds overheard one classmate tell another new to the class, "You'll learn a lot in this class." Parents have expressed the regret that they did not have a course like this in high school with one saying, "This could have saved me a lot of grief." On an end of the course survey, over 90% of the students responded that they were more aware of choices of what to do with their income than they had been before, that they had better understand the costs and benefits of their choices and how critical long term planning is. When asked in which parts of the course they thought they had received the most information, a majority replied savings, investing, credit, and loan knowledge, particularly the car and mortgage section. They also wanted more information on those topics. One stated, "This course is not long enough." Ms. Donna Mitchell, Principal of Middletown High School, "We're excited about offering the Keys to Financial Success class. Students are encountering real life financial situations for life after high school. They are excited and greatly interested by the content of the course."
