Student Clubs

The Department has a Student Advisory Board (SAB)  with a goal of providing a feedback mechanism for students to express their concerns or suggestions regarding the Department as well as for them to have input into the Department’s decision making processes. The SAB is comprised of accounting and MIS majors, including officers from all three departmental student organizations: Accounting Student Association (ASA), Association for Information Systems (AIS), and National Association of Black Accountants (NABA).

Accounting Students Association

The Accounting Students Association (ASA) is an organization to enhance the involvement between UD accounting students and professional firms as well as to connect various levels of students to share knowledge.  ASA meetings and events are open to all students.  You can see more about some of the activities of the ASA at www.facebook.com/UD.ASA.

NABA addresses the professional needs of its members and to build leaders that shape the future of the accounting and finance professions with an unfaltering commitment to inspire the same in their successors.

The mission is to further members’ educational and professional goals in accounting, consulting, finance, and information technology. Their motto is “Lifting as We Climb”.
