HRIM Students in Club Managers Association of America win Idea Fair

Students Jean Thomae, Jennifer Turowski and Morgan West of the Club Managers Association of America (CMAA) Delaware Student Chapter with advisor support from Ali Poorani, associate professor of HRIM, won the Idea Fair competition at the CMAA World Conference and Club Business Expo held in San Diego, California. Entries are judged on creativity, clarity, content; transferability of idea or method to other clubs; uniqueness; and any specified qualifications criteria. The winning entry was recognized at the conference, where the students presented their winning idea to a few hundred managers during an education session; it will also be recognized in the CMAA Yearbook and other publications.
