Program Options
The Accelerated Program can be completed in one-year of intensive study. This program is for you if you have excellent quantitative skills and can devote your full-time efforts to your coursework. The program begins in the Fall semester, where you would enroll in 12 credits of required courses. Six credits of electives must be taken in during Winter session followed by 12 credits of required courses in the Spring semester.
The full-time program offers more flexibility than the Accelerated Program and usually takes 18 months to complete, depending on which semester you begin your study. You can begin your full-time time program in any semester: Spring, Summer, Winter, or Fall. In the Full-time program you have a wide choice of elective courses to chose from and you can chose whether you want to take coursework during Winter or Summer sessions, study abroad or perhaps pursue an internship.
If you’re working full-time and want to complete your MS in Finance through courses offered during the evenings, the part-time program offers the flexibility you need. You can select electives from a diverse set of alternatives. The part-time program can generally be completed in two years.
Our dual MBA/MS Finance program allows you to pursue both degree simultaneously. You will combine the strategic business skills of the MBA with the in-depth study of Finance . Learn more about the MBA Program at the Lerner College.
The Pathways Program provides a quick start into the MS Finance program by allowing you to take up to three classes while preparing for the GMATs or GREs.
MS Finance Conditional Admission Program
If you are an international student who still needs to take the TOEFL exam, you may still be able to get started on your MS in Finance at UD through the Conditional Admissions Program (CAP).
