Student Advisement

All students have an advisor.  Freshmen and Sophomores are advised through the Office of Undergraduate Advising & Academic Services located in room 102 Purnell Hall. 

Freshmen and sophomores are advised through the Office of Undergraduate Advising and Academic Services located in room 102 Purnell Hall.  Students with last names beginning with A-K=Trish Moore, L=P and all International Business Studies majors=Jennifer Gregan-Paxton, and last names beginning with Q-Z and all Hotel, Restaurant and Institutional Management majors=Kim Wilson.  Advisors may be reached by phone at (302) 831-4369 or email at adviselerner [dot] udel [dot] edu.  Honors students, juniors and seniors are assigned a faculty advisor.

Our hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00 am. to 5 pm. E-mails for your advisor are listed below. 

We advise students on all aspects of their undergraduate program and serve as a resource for assisting students.  We provide guidance (and permission!) related to drop/adding of courses, changing majors, transferring credits, participating in study-abroad, Honors and Dean's Scholars programs, academic probation issues, the Excel Program and "exception-to-the-rule" type questions. We also direct you to appropriate sources for financial aid, careers, and scholarship information. In addition, we coordinate, participate, and sponsor various University and College events such as Honors Day, Graduation, and Prospective Students Days.
