University Graduation Requirements

In order to earn a bachelor degree from the University of Delaware, students must successfully complete the following University Requirements:

  • First Year Experience (FYE)- 1 to 3 credits
  • ENGL 110:  Critical Reading and Writing-  3 credits
  • Multicultural Course-  3 credits
  • Discovery Learning Experience ((DLE)-  3 credits
  • University Breadth Requirements –  12 credits (applies to students who begin Fall 2010 or later)

 

Courses taken to satisfy University Requirements may also be used to fulfill major requirements; however, credit hours may be counted only once towards the credit hour minimum required for the degree.
