Student Advisement

Freshmen and sophomores are advised through the Office of Undergraduate Advising and Academic Services located in room 102 Purnell Hall.  Students may choose which advisor to work with.  However, all International Business Studies majors meet with Jennifer Gregan-Paxton, all Sport Management majors are advised by Cindy Walkusky, and sophomore Hotel, Restaurant and Institutional Management majors and Hospitality Industry Studies majors meet with Kim Wilson.  Advisors may be reached by phone at (302) 831-4369 or email at lerner-adviseudel [dot] edu. 

All juniors, seniors and all Honors students are advised by a faculty advisor in the student's major.  For a listing of the faculty advisors, see below. 

Our hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. E-mails for your advisors are listed below. 

We advise students on all aspects of their undergraduate program and serve as a resource for assisting students.  We provide guidance (and permission!) related to drop/adding of courses, changing majors, transferring credits, participating in study-abroad, Honors and Dean's Scholars programs, academic probation issues, the UDREAM program and "exception-to-the-rule" type questions. We also direct you to appropriate sources for financial aid, careers, and scholarship information. In addition, we coordinate, participate, and sponsor various University and College events such as Graduation and Prospective Students Days.
