Credit Transfer

The Alfred Lerner College of Business & Economics will only accept business credits from other AACSB accredited institutions.

The University of Delaware accepts credits from regionally accredited institutions in which the students received a grade of “C” or better in college-level courses (not remedial). Pass/Fail grades are not accepted.

Business courses taken for college credit at a high school are not accepted. All other University of Delaware course equivalencies are determined by the individual academic departments. Please visit the University of Delaware transfer credit matrix for course equivalency information at the Transfer Credit Site. Students should meet with their advisor prior to completing courses at other institutions to determine how the course(s) will apply to the chosen degree program. Students must also complete a transfer credit form at the transfer credit center located in the Student Services Building prior to completing a course at another institution.

To receive a University of Delaware degree, admitted students must complete 90 of the first 100 credits or the last 30 of 36 credits, full- or part-time, at the University of Delaware.
